Ar ôl dechrau'r cwrs Gwasanaethau Cyhoeddus yn ôl yn 2011, rwyf wedi mwynhau ei wylio yn tyfu mewn poblogrwydd dros y blynyddoedd. Rwy'n ymfalchïo wrth gweld dros 104 o ddisgyblion bellach yn astudio'r cwrs  Lefel 2 a 3 ac mae'r cwrs yn gyflym yn dod yn un o'r rhai mwyaf poblogaidd yn yr ysgol. Mae'r cwrs yn cynnig cyfleoedd gwych i'r disgyblion ddatblygu amrywiaeth o sgiliau sy'n hanfodol wrth gamu i'r gweithle.

Having started the Public Services course back in 2011 I have enjoyed watching it grown in popularity over the years. I take pride in seeing over 104 pupils now studying at Level 2 and 3 and the course fast become one of the most popular in school. The course offers fantastic opportunities for pupils to develop an array of skills that are imperative when stepping into the workplace.

Rwy'n mwynhau cael y cyfle i addysgu Gwasanaethau Cyhoeddus ac rwy'n teimlo bod yna lawer o sgiliau trosglwyddadwy rhwng y cwrs hwn a'r cwrs COPE. Mae'n wych gweld amrywiaeth o ddisgyblion yn y pwnc a phob un yn cael cyfle i fynegi eu hunain mewn ystod o dasgau ymarferol a heriol.

I am enjoying having the opportunity to teach Public Services and i feel that there are many transferable skills between this course and the  COPE. Its great to see a variety of pupils in the subject and all having a chance to express themselves in a range of practical and challenging tasks.

Rwy'n falch iawn o fod yn rhan o esblygiad y cwrs hwn ac i'r hyn y gall gynnig i'r disgyblion. Mae'n gwrs ymarferol a chyffrous perthnasol a chyffrous i astudio, a dim ond yn dymuno i mi gael cyfle i fynd â'r pwnc hwn pan oeddwn yn yr ysgol.

I take great pride in being a part of the evolution of this course and to what it can offer the pupils. Its a relevant, exciting practical and worth while course to study and i only wish i would have had the chance to take this subject when i was in school.

Mae cyrsiau BTEC yn cynnig dull arall o astudio o'ch TGAU safonol. Er eu bod yn cael eu hystyried yn gyfartal, ymddengys bod opsiynau BTEC yn canolbwyntio llawer mwy ar sgiliau personol a datblygu'r unigolyn fel dysgwyr annibynnol a sicrhau bod ganddynt sylfaen sgiliau cadarn ar gyfer pryd y maent yn mynd i'r amgylchedd gwaith. Mae Gwasanaethau Cyhoeddus yn bendant yn gwneud ei orau i ddatblygu'r nodweddion hyn o fewn y bobl ifanc a'u gwneud yn hyderus i'w defnyddio yn y sefyllfaoedd cywir.

BTEC courses offer an alternative method of studying from your standard GCSE. Even though they are the regarded as equal the BTEC options seem to concentrate far more on personal skills and developing the individual as independent learners and ensuring they have a sound skill base for when they enter the working environment. Public Services definitely does its best to develop these attributes within the young people and make them confident to use them in the right situations.

Er eu bod yn cael eu hystyried yn gyfartal, ymddengys bod opsiynau BTEC yn canolbwyntio llawer mwy ar sgiliau personol a datblygu'r unigolyn fel dysgwyr annibynnol a sicrhau bod ganddynt sylfaen sgiliau cadarn ar gyfer pryd y maent yn mynd i'r amgylchedd gwaith. Mae Gwasanaethau Cyhoeddus yn bendant yn gwneud ei orau i ddatblygu'r nodweddion hyn o fewn y bobl ifanc a'u gwneud yn hyderus i'w defnyddio yn y sefyllfaoedd cywir.

The Public Services course has become of the most popular choices for pupils returning to study in the 6th form. I am pleased to see such a variety of pupils returning to take the subject and succeeding in getting excellent grades at the end of the course. With 24 pupils currently in the year 12 class it seems that the variety of modern units, with its variety of challenges is appealing and enjoyable to both boys and girls.
