Fel aelod o bwnc o Gwasanaethau Cyhoeddus yn yr ysgol, bydd eich plentyn yn defnyddio rhaglen 'TEAMs' wrth astudio'r cwrs yn y dosbarth. Mae 'TEAMS' yn rhwydwaith dysgu cymdeithasol diogel ar gyfer athrawon, disgyblion a rhieni. Mae’n darparu ffordd ddiogel a hawdd i athrawon a disgyblion i gyfathrebu gyda’i gilydd, yn ogystal â rhannu/derbyn cynnwys, gwaith cartref, graddau a negeseuon dosbarth. Ni fydd 'TEAMS' yn cael ei ddefnyddio fel rhwydwaith cymdeithasol fel Facebook. 

Bydd y safle hwn yn cael ei ddefnyddio ar gyfer dibenion addysgiadol yn unig gan ddefnyddio’r canllawiau canlynol:

• Bydd gofyn i ddisgyblion ddefnyddio sillafu a gramadeg priodol yn hytrach na iaith ‘tecstio’

• Nid yw 'TEAMS' yn caniatáu negeseuon disgybl-i-ddisgybl, felly bydd y safle yn cael ei ddefnyddio i drafod materion dobsarth ac ysgol yn unig

• Ni chaniateir postio negeseuon a all gorddi neu bygwth unigolion eraill. Mae holl reolau'r ysgol - a’r canlyniadau sy'n seiliedig â thorri’r rheolau - yn gymwys.

Gall disgyblion  sy'n torri’r rheolau uchod wynebu camau disgyblu a/neu wynebu colli cyfle i astudio'r pwnc yn gyfangwbl.

As a member of Public Services at the school, your child will use the 'TEAMS' computer program when studying the course in the 6th form. 'TEAMS' is a free and secure social learning network for teachers, students and schools. It provides a safe and easy way for us to connect, to share content and to access homework, grades and school notices. 'TEAMS' will not be used as a social network like Facebook, this tool will be used strictly for using the following:-

• Students will be required to use appropriate spelling and grammar instead of texting language

• Edmodo does not allow private student-to-student messaging - the site will be used to discuss school-related content only

• No put-downs or sarcasm toward another’s ideas will be tolerated. All school rules and consequences related to harassment apply.

Students who violate the above  guidelines may face disciplinary action and/or face losing the privilege of using Edmodo.  Edmodo also offers parent accounts and I’d like to invite you to join this classroom online!  

Edmodo is accessible online and on any mobile device with Internet capabilities (they also offer a free iPhone and Android app).  You can access your account on the go, and adjust your notification settings within Edmodo to receive alerts via text or email.
